Much of our yellow pine is sourced locally right here in Idaho - we even have a town named Yellow Pine! Padauk is a beautiful striking red hardwood native to Central and Western Africa, where the leaves are often harvested by locals for their high vitamin C content, and the tree bark made into a bitter tea. We, however, prefer the looks of the wood over the taste.
